The tunnel locates in the coastal reclamation areas, and the author first uses the shield to the clay shock method auxiliary receiving technology and successful y completes the shield arrival in the poorer situation of the arrival of shield rich water sand gravel layer and the early stage of the reinforce-ement effect. The successful application of this technology pr-ovides a choice for rich water mud shield, and provides the en-gineering experience for similar projects.
