With the development of Chinese road transport-ation, the route selection became the focus of highway co-nstruction and route selection should ful y consider the technical feasibility and economic rationality. This paper discusses the principle, method and process of route selection and the route scheme comparison in Panxi region to provide certain theoretical basis for the mountain road line selection work.
