The prestress technology not only solved some technical problems that existed in the bridge construction, and realize the reasonable control of the construction period, reduce the project cost at the same time. This paper mainly discusses the characteristic of prestress technology and app-lication status of road and bridge construction in the current, analyzes the problems existed, and proposes the corresponding solution.
