Coal power supply system has high requirements for the safety of the power supply circuit. Most of 35 KV po-wer transmission lines in the author’s company are located in the foothil s, which vulnerable to lightning strike and cause line fault tripping. Therefore, people must increase the trans-mission line lightning protection measures so as to guarantee the safe operation of overhead distribution lines.
