Starting from the characteristics of the highway engineering construction and combined with the author's own years of safety management experience, this paper analyzes some common safety accidents in the process of construction one by one, discusses the main factors that cause safety ac-cidents and puts forward the corresponding solutions, so as to improve safety management level of highway engineering project.
