节约型住宅是近些年大力提倡的住宅模式，也是国家非常注重的一项住宅体系，本文提出了节约型住宅的基本概况及意义，指出了节约型住宅设计的应用现状，最后对设计节约型住宅提出了几点策略，以便更好地促进节约型住宅的发展。
