The working principle and characteristics of ADXRS450 is introduced in this paper. The low-power toxic gas monitoring circuit was designed. The corresponding software was develoed based on VC++ platform. The environmental factors was fully considered for data processing. The experimental results show that the circuit has a simple structure,high precision and small size,and can be widely used in the fields of aerospace,industrial production,medical diagnosis,national defense and environment monitoring.
