Ancient and modern words,is a traditional ancient texts terms,it reflects the phenomenon of the contrary opinion with words. The study of ancient and modern words,is helpful to understand the development of Chinese meaning,and can better understand the meaning of words in ancient books. This paper will focus on the extended meaning caused by ancient words and words of this change,at the same time also pointed out that one of the simplified character defects. Understand ancient and modern word is helpful to us to better grasp the ancient Chinese.
