In China, the buildings are higher and higher and they have put forward new requirements for the fire control work. Thus as a scientific building fire protection design method, performance-based design has been widely applied in fire control work. This paper mainly studied the application of performance-based design on fire protection design in high-rise buildings, and put forward some suggestions.
