This paper introduced the shock blasting techn- ology and construction safety measures used in the blasting construction of the dam foundation and the excavation of slope rock of the conserved water dam in Liu Dong New Area. These technologies prevented the damage to the adjacent bridge caused by blasting vibration, shock wave and flying rock and protected the main traffic road and achieved the desired effect.
