With the development of the level of urbanization and the raise of the new urbanization strategy, constructing a friendly urban living environment wil be the key content of urban construction in the future. Taking planning and cons- truction of recreation space along Han River in Hanbin district in Ankang city as an example, the paper analyzes the content, the planning and design of the development of urban river re- creation space.
