Because of special geological conditions in loess area, the design and construction of deep foundation pit su- pport is the biggest problem that the construction unit con- fronts. This paper briefly introduced the application and char- acteristics of soil nailing support technology and analyzed the characteristics of deep foundation pit in loess area and the reinforcement principles of the soil nailing technique, focusing on the analysis of the application of the soil nailing technology in deep foundation pit support in the loess area.
