Buildings in water treatment plants and water pla- nts are required to consider taking anti-floating measures in their construction. According to the practical situation, this pa- per proposed using core pile for the uplift and compression of the structures of the building. Through theoretical calculation and engineering testing, the core pile can meets the design re- quirements. At the same time, the calculation formula of core pile was proposed, and suggestions on the structure and co- nstruction were also put forward.
