This paper analyzed the project of foundation pit in an open area in which builders lengthened the enclosure st- ructure to embed the depth and applied methods of foundation pit dewatering to prevent the softening and disintegration of the granite residual soil. The author also discussed the method of preventing the softening of residual soil in the design and construction in the deep granite residual soil.
