Large public buildings have complex functions. There are many people in it and thus the risk of fire accidents. So a severe test on the fire safety technology applying to the building high is put forward. This paper discussed the impor- tance of the fire protection design, features of fire control and its key links. The author also analyzed the main problems ex- isting in the fire safety technology of public buildings and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.
