In today’s information society, possessing the information literacy has become the basic requirement of talent education in colleges.This paper expounds the connotation of information library and the necessity for college students to possess the information literacy, analyzes the current status of the information literacy education for college students, and puts forward some strategies for strengthening the information literacy education for college students.
