阐述了信息检索课的课程性质，通过大学图书馆官网主页对39所“985”高校开设信息检索课的调查与统计分析，揭示了信息检索课师资力量的现状及面临的问题，提出了提升信息检索课师资力量的对策。

This paper describes the nature of the information retrieval course, and through the survey and statistical analysis on the information retrieval course offered by thirty nine“985”colleges and universities by using University library’s website homepage, reveals the current status of the quality of teachers of information retrieval course and existing problems, and puts forward some countermeasures for improving the quality of teachers of information retrieval course.
