This paper mainly makes an experimental study on the weak expansive soil of the Huai An Qingpu -Jinhu first highway.Combined with the practice,it analyzes the compaction of maximum dry density of soil and the maximum dry density of limestone soil and also the differences between the indoor compaction and site compaction , and then make some conclusions to provide a reliable theoretical basis for practical engineering application and further research work in the future.
