In the process of building construction, building electrical retardant and fire resistant cables constitute a part of the cable material. Flame retardant and fire power, in the cons-truction of communication facilities, as wel as the fire has played an important role in.Flame retardant and fire resistant cable is mainly has two kinds:one kind is made stop burning plastics flame-retardant and fire-resistant cable;one is from the mica tape and prevent burning plastic merged with flame retardant and fire resistant cable. This paper discusses the infl-uence of fire retardant and the burning factors of fire resistant cables,and analyzes the usage of the building electrical retard-ant and fire resistant cables.
