Comprehensive monitoring system (ISCS) using a reasonable mode of operation and maintenance, is the guarant-ee of cultivation of high-quality talents, solving the problem of fault response speed, the efficiency of the security and so on. I-n this paper, an integrated supervisory control system of rail tr-ansit project as an example, the analysis from the aspects of e-quipment types, distribution characteristics, introduces a varie-ty of comprehensive monitoring system of different types of mode of operation and maintenance, in order to adapt to the o-veral operation and management needs, to maximize the adv-antages, more efficient service to the rail traffic.
