Taking the plastic mould design and NC machining as an example, this paper introduces a new method of mould design by Pro/ENGINERE and NC machining by MasterCAM. By the combination of techniacal advantages with Pro/ENGINERE in mould design and MasterCAM in NC machining, the CAD/CAM cycle of mould is effectively cut down, the development cost can be reduced, and it also improves the efficiency of design and machining.
