The shield tunnel construction utilizes the technol-ogy of precast segment to assembly the lining, but due to the improper control of the segment, sealing rod and the assemb-ly process that caused the tunnel leakage. The author combines with the plugging construction experience of Shenzhen Metro Shield Tunnel to introduce the construction process of shield tunnel engineering plugging in order to provide practical sugg-estions for similar shield tunnel plugging.
