With the deepen opening of China, port plays a mo-re role as goods distribution, water and land transportation hub, the port construction is more and more important, pneumatic caisson meets the needs of port expansion continued in the ver-y great degree. The pneumatic caisson has the traditional and modern two construction methods in our country. This paper s-ummarizes and analyzes the process and the experiences of po-rt pneumatic caisson construction process, puts forward some own opinions, for reference and exchange of learning only.
