The ecological livable city is the pursuit of a bet er living environment since ancient times. However, with the de-velopment of the city, people have to face the increasing pres-sure on the environment. This article starts from the theory and bases on a successful design case to explore an ef ective way of combining the energy conservation and environmental prot-ection with the planning and design of ecological livable city.
