This paper taking the renovation of Yixing Grand Hotel as an example, explores and analyses “the integration of design and construction” how to let the hotel renovation has fundamental y changed, how to put the old business building with original flavor, lacking of pat ern change into the hotel district with supporting facilities and pleasant environment. This is a great chal enge for designers, also is a topic worthy of exploration.
