This paper firstly expounds the importance of cost control in construction engineering, in view of the existing c-onstruction cost management problems at present, and puts fo-rward the cost management and control of construction pro-ject in China should establish standards for the construction cost valuation and the valuation method, promoting the const-ruction project cost management idea renewal, the establi-shment of the physical construction project cost the consulting market, strengthen the management of construction cost perso-nnel's quality training and countermeasures.
