Rockery is a major component in the classical gar-dens, but many of the classical garden rockery construction to-ols and techniques have long become extinct, which serious i-mpact on the heritage and repair of classical garden rockery. In this article, the author bases on the history of literature and the examples of inspection, and briefly study the rockery resea-rch of ancient buildings.
