    The transponder is one of the most important core technologies in the field of railway signal control technology. By using the method of patent information analysis, this paper reviews the current status and future development trends of the transponder system in China’s train operation control field, which provides the reference for relevant enterprises in R&D direction and patent layout of the transponder.
