In this paper, combined with the actual situation, based on analyzing the general situation of the project and the geological conditions of engineering, the author analyzed the instability type of embankment, and through the inversion me-thod parameters calculated the anti-shear strength of the fil ing of high-fil ed embankment. The author also carried on the mo-nitoring of the high-fil ed subgrade and il ustrated the feasi-bility of the control of the stability of road base.
