The Northern part of Qinling Mountains has imp-ortant ecological position in our country, so it is facing prob-lems of development and protection. This paper took the envir-onmental protection as the background and the town as the st-arting point, making a research and analysis of simple driving factors related to spatial layouts of ecological smal town at the northern foot of Qinling Mountains on the function transform-ation, aiming at providing ideas for the intensive development of the Northern part of Qinling Mountains.
