Because of traditional concept and actual condi-tions, traditional materials such as bricks and wood still widely used in the architecture in the countryside of Western Sichuan. In the post disaster reconstruction, this paper, combined with the local building materials and modern technology, retained its exquisite craft technique and the cultural connotation to continue to carry forward the glory of the tradition materials.
