This paper briefly describes the general requirements for the seismic design of reinforced concrete masonry shear wall structure in large space at the bottom, comparatively analyzes the structural response of the reinforced concrete masonry shear wall structure and the reinforced concrete shear wall structure in large space at the bottom with engineering examples at the one-dimensional and multi-dimensional seismic action, in order to provide the necessary reference for future designs.
