This paper combined with the actual development of Chongqing City, systematicaly analyzes the main security problem of water supply utilities in urban areas, at the same time aimed at the present situation of safe water supply in main urban areas, proposes the corresponding planning measures, to promote to solve the security problem of water supply in the main urban area.
