With the development of economy, domestic cars increase in quantity, but city traffic environment is worsening. This paper analyzes the main cause of city traffic problem, puts forward to build the green traffic system is the effective way to realize the sustainable development of the city traffic, and discusses the main measures of the construction of the green transportation system.
