This paper starts from the basic properties of brick masonry, combining the practice of brick masonry application of domestic architects in the construction, from two aspects of materials and building method, discussing the way of expressi-on of brick in modern architecture. And on this basis, on the brick material used in modern construction practice, the author puts forward some viewpoints and opinions.
