Pit support must be safe and reliable in the exc-avation of deep foundation , the large discreteness of shear str-ength of saturated silty soil led to in the process of foundation pit excavation poor soil stability, which could have a negative impact on the overal stability of foundation pit, and even cau-se accidents. Therefore, this paper mainly, from the perspective of foundation pit excavation,discusses on how to improve the stability of saturated silty clay in the process of the excavation of foundation pit itself, focusing on the design process and material of construction of foundation pit support.
