China is the world's largest coal producer and consumer and nearly 76%energy comes from coal which is an issue that must lead to the negative impact on environmental protection and also on economic development and the development of society. Huge coal mining, transportation and combustion have already caused a great damage to our environment. Based on the above this article carries a case study on how Tuoketuo Power Plant make use of photovoltaic energy technologies to reduce significantly energy consumption of coal and atmospheric emissions to get good effects to our environment and society.
