This paper discusses the historical advantage, talent advantage, discipline advantage and resource advantage of the key disciplines, analyzes the impact of key disciplines’ development on university library’s information resources construction, and from the aspects of resources construction evaluation mechanism, personnel quality, relationship among disciplines, digital resources construction, and co-construction and sharing, etc., puts forward some coping strategies for the library.
