This paper analyzed the sulfur corrosion reasons of the low and high oil temperature parts of two sets of atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, pointed out the key layout of ferrous sulfide in device and the harm, and proposed measures to reduce or avoid harm both from the technology and equipment for the sulfur corrosion and spontaneous combustion of ferrous sulfide in the operation of device.
