Shendong Coal Group is the main coal production enterprise of Shenhua Group. It has developed and constructed from 1985, it takes "Five High" construction principle of "high starting point, high quality, high technology, high efficiency, high benefit" as the instruction, and creates ten million tons intensive production mode of coal mine group by the characteristics of "large scale production, modern technology, professional team, informational management". In order to reply the enterprise strategic transformation, Shendong Coal Group constructs the competency model of middle-level cadres by the enterprise characteristics. This model mainly consists of three modules, three levels and four "M". The construction of this model establishes cadre management standards for Shendong Coal Group, and then, it lays a solid foundation for comprehensively optimizing the cadre management system of Shendong Coal Group, and setting up and improving the selection and appointment, evaluation, motivation, training, development and other mechanisms of leaders and cadres.
