Although the battery capacity has increased gradually,consumers hope the mobile terminal have faster charging speed. NCP1851 is integrated with the management function of dynamic power path,which can conduct the system quickly in low battery situation,and help the battery of depth discharge. The dedicated interrupt signal is transmitted to I2C control bus though the internal temperature sensor and the external negative temperature coefficient(NTC)resistor of the chip to ensure the safety charging of the system. NCP1851 provides the USB OTG mode,which can save another boost converter for the power sup-ply fittings of inserting into USB port. The chip with the size of 2.2 mm×2.55 mm can provide 1.5 A charging power,which is used to fit the newest input power and the large capacity battery conforming to USB standard,and can achieve the integrated charging cycle of 1650 mAh lithium-ion battery in 90 min.
