The collection of unofficial publications in China started in the 80s and 90s of the 20th century. However, its collection scope, collection method, collection value, later stage’s development and utilization and other problems have not yet been solved properly. This paper expounds the definition, classification and features of unofficial publications, and puts forward some countermeasures for the collection of unofficial publications.
