Independent college library’s service for the local culture development is not only a great need in the construction and development of local culture but also an objective request of its own construction and development. This paper analyzes the necessity for independent college library to serve the local culture development,discusses the advantages of independent college library in serving the local culture development,and puts forward some strategies for independent college library to serve the local culture development.
