Among the four skins of English learning,writing plays the most significant role in teaching and learning English in China.Students get their grades mostly by way of writing,and teachem evaluate their students'English mostly by way of writing,too.Many senior students wonder why learning English is not So easy as it was in primary school and junior middle sch001.According to the author's observation,it is because most students do not know how to study on their own.When facing a sequence of hindrances,they lose their interest and self-confidence in English.In order to help students to regain their interest and self-confidence,the purpose of this paper is to offer some teaching techniques to improve senior middle school students'writing ability.
